This is a rare talk by Gallery Director of Kilmorack and author of 'Confessions of a Highland Art Dealer.'
"The art world is populated by individuals with an urge to do one thing, to make art, and an art dealer isn’t very different. Confessions of a Highland Art Dealer tells the story of how Tony created Kilmorack Gallery in a long-abandoned rural church, and how he survived and adapted to a changing and often surreal world.
Tony’s book has been shortlisted for both the Slightly Foxed First Biography Award 2022 and the Highland Book Prize 2022. His talk is about how Confessions and the gallery came to be, and the need for art in our turbulent times."
