We are currently working on a large exhibition of landscape-influenced painting and sculpture for this winter. The inspiration behind this is to show the diversity and importance of Scottish painters of land, sea and sky; especially now when ecological threats are increasing. Artists have never been more important. We will post more shortly.
"It is the preciousness of land, sea and sky that has prompted the exhibition ‘Borrowed Land,’ and the vital role artists play in reminding us that there is nothing more important than the living and invisible worlds that surround us. Our own health as individuals, a species and a planet depend on how well we look after land, sea and sky; and artists help navigate us towards a better world. They let us see what is too often walked past or forgotten."
